This week: Whybirds in Bedford, Union Chapel w/ Treetop Flyers

Hi all, I'm back from my honeymoon now and getting back to normal life. Well, as normal as life can be with what's going on in the world at the moment. I'm going to be dusting off the drum kit to play with The Whybirds in our first gig in a year, at the Ent Shed in Bedford on Saturday 28 November. It's going to be a great show, and I can't wait to play with the boys again! Tickets are available on the door. Then, on the Sunday (29th November), I'm playing solo at The Union Chapel Bar, London, supporting The Treetop Flyers. Should be a lovely afternoon! All the details you need re: tickets and times can be found here. Also, in other news, my Concert Window show has been moved from

"Til The Storm Has Gone" Live!

A video filmed in summer 2013 has been unearthed! It's a live clip of me performing Til The Storm Has Gone (from The Whybirds' A Little Blood) in Bedford Park. Thanks Mash!

Save The Bear Club!

As I mentioned in my monthly newsletter -- not a member? Sign up here -- one of my favourite venues has been threatened with closure. The venue in question is The Bear Club in Luton, and if you've been, you'll know how cool it is. If you haven't, well, you may never get the chance now. I sent a people a link to a petition to try and save the club, and I got the link slightly wrong. People could probably work out how to sort it, but for the sake of ease, here it is again. There's a news article about what's going on here, but to cut a long story short, it sucks. Music venues are struggling all over the country and this one was actually thriving. There's simply no justice if it has to close.
